Kids spend a significant portion of their time at schools and kindergartens. Schoolchildren spend 80% of their time at school in a classroom where they have to sit still for long periods of time.
The selection of study furniture in accordance to a child’s height plays a very important role in the prevention of scoliosis and bad posture.
Study furniture improperly matched to the height group of the child may lead to back pain and bad posture.
The procedure for the correct individual matching of the study furniture is rather labour-intensive and takes up a lot of time and effort.
An innovative stadiometer was developed specifically for the matching of furniture that is best suited to each student. With the invention of this special stadiometer gauge the procedure of student seating arrangement has become easy and quick.
The author of the invention is a PhD and MD. The new instrument is fully compliant with British and European Educational Furniture Standard BS EN 1729.
The correctly matched study furniture will significantly improve kids’ concentration while studying, their posture, comfort, and will favourably affect the development of their musculoskeletal system.
This invention can be used on adults as well as children.
WHAT IS THIS INNOVATIVE GAUGE?
The stadiometer gauge consists of two sliding bars on the face surface of which there is a colour-coded scale corresponding to height groups of students and size-numbers of school furniture.

02The BOTTOM BAR is designed to help determine the desk and chair size-number.
Each height group on the scale is marked with a corresponding digit and colour. The digit and colour coding of the desk and chair size-numbers match the coding of height groups.next>>
